The Fieldwork audit tool

The app that measures a business, scores it, prints the PDF, and keeps the client book and pipeline in one place. The report you'd buy from us is produced by software we wrote.

Callouts
  1. Seven stages, the same ones our sales process uses. Software and process can't disagree.
  2. The last audit's score sits on the card. A re-audit shows what moved.
  3. One filter across every stage. "Where's that roofer I talked to" is a single search.
  4. Every bar comes with the reason, in words. A score you can't argue with is a score you can't check.
  5. A zero is only printed when we saw the thing and it wasn't there. Here, an AI answer existed and didn't name the business.

01The problem

Most visibility tools score things they never observed. If Google doesn't show a review count on the day, the tool reads that as zero, and a business with 350 reviews gets told reviews are its biggest problem. The owner knows it's wrong, and from then on nothing else in the report gets believed.

02The hard part

Telling "not there" apart from "couldn't see it." The rubric scores a number it couldn't read neutrally and says so in plain words, with the exact search attached. A profile it genuinely couldn't find still scores zero, because that's a real finding.

Two more rules came from real mistakes (see how we check our work). The business matcher refuses to guess when two companies share a name, and it rejects a match in the wrong state even when the name agrees. And an online-only brand gets its own rubric, because scoring it on a map pin it can never have would be dishonest.

03What we built

  • A batch pre-check that measures a list of businesses in minutes and only flags the ones worth a call
  • The full audit: Google profile, reviews, local ranking, AI answers, website, directories, social
  • A PDF report with every search printed in an appendix
  • A client book that keeps every audit, so month two can show what moved since month one
  • A pipeline board and a library of every sales and delivery document

04What it shows about us

We build software that is honest about its own blind spots. If a tool can't know something, it should say so rather than guess, and that matters more the more your business relies on the number.
